cooking tips

We're going to the beach this week for a mini vacation and have a condo so we can cook... any suggestions and simple recipes for fresh seafood... easy to do with whatever basic cooking gear will be in the kitchen? We're not experienced in cooking it straight from the ocean... I myself am interested in tuna or swordfish filets more than shellfish but any shellfish tips are also appreciated...

Fresh and Easy, Tesco
Posted by Chai on May, 08. :: 16 Comments
I'd heard Tesco was building their small Fresh and Easy markets, and they're currently in California and I think Arizona and a 3rd state.

Has anyone out that way been to one?

The idea sounds great to me as it seems it promotes neighborhood shopping....small layout, ready prepared items as well as fresh produce. organic, lower prices, etc.

I went on their website and nominated an area near where I live for a store, if and when they come here.

USPS food drive this Saturday!

This is one of my favorite events so I always like to remind everyone.

If your community participates all you have to do is put non-perishable food items in a bag by your mail box and your letter carrier picks it up for delivery to the food bank.

Every little bit helps!
