Music sharing is a victimless crime
Posted by blakblak on May, 09. :: 25 Comments
Music sharing has become more prevalent due to the internet and digitization of music. It has become much easier to acquire music and acquire it for free. This may affect record companies etc because there is an increasing number of p2p and file sharing sites out there. But really are there any victims when people download music off the internet? Music is meant for enjoyment and should be available to all.Music sharing can increase the profile of bands so more people are listening to them and more people would come to concerts. People who download music from the net probably buy music if it wasn't for free so there is really no loss.

What do you think? Is music sharing a victimless crime?

No computer effects here. It's the Melbourne symphony orchestra, and the whole thing is done with VB stubbies.
