| What do I do ? |
Posted by mamaof3 on April, 16. :: 5 Comments
I have graduated in MIS (Management Information Science) with a good standing in 2003. I stayed home to raise my daughter but now it's time to work. I have applied to many jobs in the past couple of months but I am not getting any response. The degree was a combination of finance classes,programming,banking, math,statistics,and economics. After doing all that I don't know what am I doing wrong that I am not attracting any companies. All I want is a entry level job in a company and I know I will make my way up.
What do I do next????
help me??

ok... I am stuck on what I want to do. I dont want to own a daycare business anymore. I am very good with computers and want to major in something dealing with computers!! I have no idea what area. From what I have heard they're many different areas. Maybe someone can help me out because the more I look the more confused I get.
I love working on computers and figuring out what is wrong with it. Everytime there is a problem with my computer at my moms house they always yell "Brandie, come fix this!" or "What is wrong with this stupid thing?" Im always right there trying to fix it. If my mom thinks I cant do it without messing something else up she'll call the people and Im always right next to her telling her exactly what they are telling her to do.
So can someone please help me!!

| Engineering Technology Outsourcing Nightmare? |
Posted by aeroz on November, 03. :: 2 Comments
I am extremely interested in going to DeVry University to get my EET degree. However, my boyfriend told me that EET jobs are getting outsourced like crazy, and there will be very few opportunities left in the fields of both Engineering and related manufacturing jobs like EET, in the next 10 years.
Is it true that manufacturing jobs will be outsourced in the next 10-20 years?
Is EET & Engineering in general a dwindling field and a poor investment choice for the future? Am I wasting my time with EET?
If so then what should I choose? What's hot in technology? Or is all of technology getting outsourced from the United States into third world countries?
Thanks
