The TV Forum :: Ask us a Question!

TV :: Television is a medium of many dimensions. At once, it can inform, amuse, entertain, and educate. TV has become a staple of mass media communications since the late 1940's.

Many people living today cannot remember when there was no TV. The medium has evolved from a fuzzy, black and white broadcast on a tiny screen, to the glorious color filled, wide screen stereophonic marvel of today.

Almost everyone has an opinion on TV programs, cable vs. satellite, regular or wide screen, pay vs. free, etc.. The subject has innumerable possibilities for lively discussion. The TV Forum is the place to ask questions, or discuss the shows, the stars, the equipment, or anything else related to the medium. Ask us a Question!

Thats the way you do it -- play your guitar on MTV
Posted by boomerang on May, 08. :: 9 Comments
We met some old neighbors for dinner the other night and they lamented our moving because Mo was such a hard worker and he was always wandering the neighborhood looking for jobs.

Tonight on TV we were watching some show about gold mining in Alaska. One guy -- a few trucks -- work.

And then there is "Dirty Jobs" and "Deadliest Catch" and "Ax Men" and all of these other shows about working. You can't turn on the TV without there being some show about working.

When did work become entertainment insead of .... errrr.... work?

When did we start watching work on TV instead of working?

How can I become an Actress?
Posted by abzter323 on May, 04. :: 1 Comment
I really want to become an actress. I went to this one agency and it turned out that it was all bogus and all they wanted was my money and in return you get fake auditions and classes. Embarassed Does anyone know if there is good place I can go to get an agent or a non-bogus agency of some sort?
