You find it on bathroom walls, tenement buildings, brownstone mansions, sidewalks, abandoned vehicles, farm buildings, billboards, wherever the muse leads you. Please share your favorites.

I'll start with one that I posted on one of Roberta's threads.

Many years ago when I lived in New York City I went into the ladies room of Jack Barry's Saloon on Greenwich Avenue and spied this little jewel.

Someone had scribbled on the wall:

My mother made me a homosexual.

and in very neat printing underneath the scrawl appeared

If I get her fabric, will she make me one too?

Someone came along, crossed out grils, and wrote girls.

I have to share this. After I read this, I turned to Merry Andrew and said "Who is Bill Posters?" "I never heard of him, is he an Australian?"

He is still looking at me like my name was Gracie Allen or something.

I'll assume I can..... I took this photo when I was a teenager when we were in Spain in 1984 (I think). I believe it was in or near the Alhambra. I loved the thing, but don't know enough about Spanish politics (or history now I suppose) to make sense of it in any real way.

I remember reading somewhere (maybe Reader's Digest) about a girl's dormitory at a Bible School. In their restroom, there were four stalls; one of which was missing its door. The stalls were labelled First John, Second John, Third John, and Revelation.

That is awesome. Know nothing the Spanish uprising and what they went through other than the women's movement in the 70's. I'm fascinated by the American flag and wonder what the significance is. Probably not good.

i don't think, or to my eye it does not seem to have anything to do with spanish politics. 1984, that was Reagan, right? We got cowboy skeletons waving american flag... i'd guess it's just an opinion on the american administration at the time. wonder what the author would paint today. bush is also a cowboy, skulls woud be more, i guess.

Were there only three riders, or was there a fourth somewhere?

If it were not for the three, it looks like the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse, with American cowboy figures as the four horseman, which would be a pretty obvious reference to opinions on American foreign policy, I guess.

You SAW it in '84....I wonder when it was painted?
