What followed is a quotation from my professor's syllabus:

"At least 20 sources must be cited in the briefing book.Students must use footnotes(not endnotes) and may follow any acceptable style(Chicago manual of Style preferred).I suggest that……"

Could somebody give me more information on Chicago manual of Style?I really appreciate it.

It is the manual she prefers that you use to cite your sources (in a bibliography).

A VERY quick google search yields many resources for you to browse.
