The large local technical institution just offered me a position teaching Electrical, and I accepted!

1 - Chumly - 05/07/2008Funny man! I just got back to work with the shipyards after being sick with the flu, I'll have to stop playing with toy boats now and see how many crayons it takes to jamb up a 3 phase panel.

Thanks man........30 years as an Electrician and now I get to explain what the hell I did in all that time!

Also they want me to take a number of professional development courses to improve my overall teaching credentials, they will pay for it all too.

Son is considering an electrical apprenticeship.

He's currently in his last year of school but working 1 day a week in a school based certificate course for a general contracting (maintenance) company.
