Has anyone heard about this story? I sure wouldn't want to be the one out strolling the beach to find one of these.

most intriguing marty.

I like the line in the artical: there is no evidence to suggeat the feet were forcibly removed?

erm.. how else would a right foot be floating loney as a cloud of BC?

I discount the plane crash theory. Flesh would have been picked off by fish and crabs.

I'd make sure your drug bill is paid on time from here on in.

That's pretty creepy. I bet they are being left on the beaches intentionally. How many right feet would have to be out there for four to wash up randomly? Looks like a case for CSI.

Probably coming from Atlantis. They must be feeding the water Christians to the sea lions again.

(I've heard of total immersion baptism, but that is ridiculous.)

Why just the right feet? Let's hope the victims are still alive. Maybe they cut off a foot to keep them from running away. I wish the article had more details, like what gender the feet were, were they cut off or bitten/torn off, how long each had been in the water; were the feet removed while the victim was still alive?

Grisly.

Quote:
Curtis Ebbesmeyer, a former professor of oceanography at the University of Washington who studies floating objects, said when the third foot was found that the feet could have drifted from as far as 1,000 miles.

Ebbesmeyer said it may not be a coincidence they were found in the same area. He said left shoes and right shoes often tend to wash up at different times at different places because they float differently.

He added that there are beaches that collect mostly rights and others that collect mostly lefts because the winds or currents sort out left and right foot wear.

Are you kidding me? The ocean sorts out the feet?
