The Nabucco pipeline is sewing up!

I wonder how many people there are who like me find the the Nabucco pipeline project too raw to be taken serious. There aren't even determinate gas sources for the Nabucco, are there? As it was assumed earlier, the Nabucco was to be filled with gas from Azerbaijan and other Central Asian countries. Now, it is still open to question inasmuch as Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan began to sell their gas to China and India. Even in case Nabucco gets finished after all by the year 2013 and starts pumping through gas from Central Asia, European Union becomes highly dependant of such countries like Azerbaijan, Georgia and Ukraine, all of them known to have been terribly unstable in the recent years. They've got too many internal problems, while having an influence over European Union (the very Nabucco!) these countries will deliberately try to deal with them at the expense of EU itself! So it turns out that we were striving for higher energy security and what do we get? We'll become dependent of regimes that one even cannot call quite democratic ones! Fuck!

You mean, we'll become partly dependent on them, too, instead of being wholly dependent on Russia? Goodness, my.
